Allow me to introduce myself, I am Jeri Abel, Artist, flower and nature lover, gardener, and photographer. The growing season is a busy time when the flowers come. I gather the prime beauties and arrange them into still life scenes in my studio, After photographing them, sometimes I choose the best shot and then work on it with some amazing software and transform the photograph in to a painting. It might become a pastel, watercolor or oil depending on the mood. I choose the strokes that I would use if I were painting it with a brush. I call these photo-paintings. I am trained in the classical arts and graphics.
